Been so long
Since things been going my way
But then again
My way ain't the kind way
Something wrong with my expectations
But then again, who put me in this situation

If I tell you more than that
It might be untrue
If you hold me more like that
I don't know what I might do
But it's always something new

Now I'm here
Say, that's a good one
What you gonna do
To make it a good one
I'd be happy
Just to write my mother a letter
And say I'll be home soon
And it sure feels a whole lot better

Now you know
That since things been going my way
All it took
Was to get up and try
I knew this spell
Would never last forever
Now's my time
